Screen Resolution What Size Display?
It's important to consider what screen size your target market will being viewing your website
on. 800 x 600 is the currently the smallest size you need to worry about. However, 41%, the
largest segment of the market, is viewing websites on a 1024 x 768 screen. We design to fill the screen without scrolling, inside that range.
User Interface Clear Navigation Is Key
Is the navigation on your site easily seen and accessible? Are the buttons obvious to the viewer?
Is your website structure well organized? These are all key elements to consider in creating good user interface.
As most people read top to bottom and
left to right, we feel that the bottom
right should have a link available to
take the next step.
Color Scheme Brighter Isn't Necessarily Better
Too many colors are visually distracting and can turn off viewers. Sticking to a limited color
palette will not only increase visibility of key information, it will be much more aesthetically
pleasing for your audience. We can advise
about "action colors" like orange, and
blue as the color that inspires the most
trust.
